How to configure my DYMO 4XL LabelWriter printer on my Windows PC?

Here are the steps to successfully configure your new DYMO 4XL LabelWriter printer with a Windows PC.

Before connecting the printer to the computer, it is necessary to download the driver.

    1. Click on the following link and d Download the latest driver for Windows on the DYMO official website in the Support / Support tab:

      DYMO Connect for Desktop v1.3.2, Windows® or DYMO Connect for Desktop v1.3.2, Windows®

    The DCDSetup.1.3.2.exe file will download and appear at the bottom left of your screen.

    1. After it finishes downloading, click on it to open the file "DCDSetup.1.3.2.exe"
    2. It will ask if "Do you want to allow this application to make changes to your device?" and you have to click on " Yes ".

    After this step, the DYMO Connect driver installer will open.

    Install the DYMO Connect driver

    1. Continue the DYMO Label driver installation process to the end with the default settings.


    Make sure you have finished all the installation steps to the end before following the manual steps below. Continue with the manual after clicking the "Finish" button.

    Add the DYMO 4XL printer to your printers.

      6. * IMPORTANT* : Before continuing with the following steps, you must connect the printer through the USB Cable .

      7. Open "Control Panel".

      8. Click on "Hardware and Sound".

      9. Then click on "Devices and Printers"

      10. Identify the "DYMO LabelWriter 4xl" printer and right click to go to "Printing Preferences".
      11. Make sure the Orientation is "Portrait". and click on "Advanced options ...".
      12. Once inside Advanced Options ... make sure that the paper size be " 1744907 4 in x 6 in " and the Print quality be " Barcodes and Graphics "
      13. Click "OK", then "Apply", and then "OK" again.

      From now on, your DYMO 4xl LabelWriter printer is correctly configured and will show up on your printers.
